Yeti Nepali Association UK Hosts Strategic Workshop to Discuss Future Agendas
On 16th July 2023, Yeti Nepali Association UK successfully held a strategic workshop to discuss several key agendas crucial to the organization’s future. The workshop saw participation from 3 trustees and 19 advisors, all of whom were invited to share their insights and perspectives on the direction of Yeti’s upcoming programmes.
During the workshop, a variety of important topics were discussed. These included the current structure of Yeti, the relationship and functional responsibilities between the London Yeti Welfare Foundation and Yeti Nepali Association UK, and the planning of upcoming programmes. The most significant topic on the agenda was the formation of the ‘Yeti House,’ a dedicated community house for the organization.
In line with this, a new committee was proposed and subsequently formed, led by Mr. Umesh Raj Moktan. Several respected community leaders were selected to contribute as ‘Yeti House Committee Members.’ This committee has been tasked with developing and providing a comprehensive action plan for the Yeti House as soon as possible.
The workshop was a critical step in ensuring that Yeti Nepali Association UK continues to serve the community effectively and remains a cornerstone of support and cultural preservation.
