31st Annual General Assembly of Yeti Nepali Association UK
Yeti Nepali Association UK, the oldest Nepali community organization in Europe, is pleased to announce the 31st Annual General Assembly (AGM), which will take place on:
Date: Sunday, 4th May 2025
Venue: Harrow Borough Football Club, South Harrow, London
Time: From 12:00 Noon onwards
The Executive Committee, during its meeting held earlier this month, confirmed the AGM date and officially formed the Election Committee for the upcoming leadership election.
Election Committee:
• Coordinator: Mr. Umesh Raj Moktan (Former President)
• Members: Mr. Shashidhar Nepal and Mr. Shankar Prasad Dahal
The Coordinator may appoint additional members if necessary.
Important Election Dates:
• Membership Renewal/New Registration Deadline: Friday, 2nd May 2025 by 7:00 PM
• Candidacy Filing: From 7:00 PM on 2nd May to 7:00 PM on 3rd May
• Objection to Candidacy Deadline: By 8:00 PM on 3rd May
• Candidacy Withdrawal Deadline: By 9:00 PM on 3rd May
Candidates may submit their nomination forms either in person at Golden Sip Restaurant, South Harrow, or online via our website: www.yetinepaliassociation.com
Candidacy Fees:
• President: £400
• Senior Vice-President: £300
• Vice-President & General Secretary: £250
• Vice General Secretary & Treasurer: £150
• Secretaries: £100
• Executive Members: £50
Note: Candidacy fees are non-refundable once submitted.
Membership Fees:
• Annual Membership: £10
• Life Membership (Single): £100
• Life Membership (Couple): £150
Members wishing to propose constitutional amendments must email their proposals, with reasons and full details, to the official Yeti email generslsecretary@yetinepaliassociation.com no later than 28th April 2025.
We call upon all members, well-wishers, and the wider Nepali community in the UK to actively participate in this important democratic process and help shape the future of our historic organization.
